The Ministry of Highways, Fleet Services, is seeking an organized, motivated Journeyperson Parts Person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide customer service to the Weyburn Repair Depot’s clients.
In this position you will be responsible for identifying and ordering products, issuing, receiving and sourcing parts and inventory items as well you will process invoices, manage and maintain the Fleet Services inventory in the computer inventory system.
You will provide expertise and guidance to Fleet Services and its clients regarding policies, procedures and financial guidelines related to purchasing, supplies, CVA’s and equipment specification.
You will be responsible for supervision and coaching for shop assistant and summer student. In your role of storekeeper, you will work with your parts team as a “Lean Leader” to assist them in process improvements for all aspects of service delivery.
To qualify for this position, you will hold a valid Class 5 operator’s license and a Journeyperson Parts Certificate.
