The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program provides scholarships for high school students who exhibit brilliance in their academics.
The scholarship has three award levels,
- The Florida Academic Scholars Award
- Florida Medallion Scholars Award
- Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award.
The eligibility criteria and the award amounts for each award level differ. The student with the highest academic ranking in each county will receive the Academic Top Scholars Award.
Scholars applying for the 2021-22 academic year will receive an award of up to 100% of tuition and other school-related fees. Health, transportation, and accommodation will also be covered by the scholarship.
Renewal Requirements
To renew this scholarship opportunity, Bright Futures candidates are to make sure they maintain the minimum cumulative GPA requirements and make sure they complete the necessary credit hour each year.
Full-time candidates are required to complete 24 credit hours for both semesters in order to renew the scholarship at the end of each academic year.
